Privacy Policy

KELO SkillRacer (“we”) is a free educational website operated by Gammelia Technocity LLC. We built it to collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Children's information is covered in more detail in our Children's Privacy Notice.

1. Guests (no account)

You can use every game and lesson without an account. Your progress, rewards, and settings are stored in your own browser's local storage. We do not receive this information. You can download or erase it at any time on the Settings page.

2. Usage statistics

To understand which activities are popular, your browser sends us anonymous events such as “a page was viewed” or “Balloon Blast was played”, plus whether this is the browser's first visit today or this month. We store only daily totals and a two-letter country code supplied by our hosting provider. We do not store IP addresses, device identifiers, or advertising IDs, and we do not use analytics cookies. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, no events are sent.

3. Daily tournament leaderboard

If you finish the Daily Tournament, your score is posted under a randomly generated racer name (for example, “Swift Otter 482”). No other information is attached. Scores are deleted after 30 days.

4. Teacher and administrator accounts

Teachers provide an email address and password (handled by our authentication provider) and may optionally add a name and school. We use this only to operate the account, send account emails (such as confirmations and password resets), and keep the service secure. Teacher accounts are for adults only.

4a. Paid plans (Teacher Pro and Family Pro)

Paid plans are bought by adults only. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., which collects and stores your card details under its own privacy policy; we never see or store your full card number. We keep only your plan, its status and renewal date, and the Stripe customer and subscription IDs needed to manage it.

4b. Parent accounts

Parents can create a family group that works like a classroom: each child gets a code, and the parent sees that child's activity results. Children in a family group are treated exactly like classroom students below.

5. Classroom students

Teachers create student entries using a nickname or label of their choice, and we generate a student code. Students sign in with the class code and student code — no email, password, or birthday. When a student completes an activity, we store the result (activity, speed, accuracy, score, time) so their teacher can see progress. This information is visible only to that teacher. Teachers can delete student records at any time, and records are automatically deleted after the retention period set by the site administrator.

6. Advertising

Core learning features are free and will never require viewing or clicking ads. Advertising is currently disabled. If enabled in the future, ads would appear only on adult-facing pages (such as teacher and parent guides), would be clearly labeled, and would be non-personalized (not based on browsing behavior). Ads are never shown on games, lessons, races, or student pages. We will update this policy and obtain any consent required by law before enabling ads.

7. Service providers

We use a database and authentication provider (Supabase), a hosting provider (Cloudflare), and a payment processor (Stripe, for paid plans only) to run the site. They process data on our behalf under their terms. We do not sell or rent personal information.

8. Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit. Database access is restricted by row-level security so teachers can only see their own classes. Classroom activity records are deleted after the configured retention period; teachers can delete them sooner.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR, UK GDPR, or US state laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your information. Teachers can export and delete their data from the Account page. For other requests, contact us at privacy@keloskillracer.com.

10. Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the “last updated” date. Material changes affecting children's information will be communicated as required by law.
